Today I had to go into NYC for work. My office is located at 2 World Financial Center, which is right across the highway from Ground Zero. I thought taking some pictures of the current construction might be a good idea. I can hardly beleive that 7 years later, it really is still a massive hole. It is nice to see though that construction is finally starting to come along. I don't think you can tell because of the size of these pictures, but there are some steel girdys that look like the beginings of a building. 
It is taking a long time but you know...I am glad it is. It means they are putting a lot of thought into it and that is nice.
